220gsm Display Polyester

220gsm Display Polyester is our most popular material alternative to PVC banners because it can be folded down for easy transportation, but still have all of the finishing options of a normal banner. If you require tablecloths then see our dedicated tablecloth page.

220gsm 100% Recycled Display Polyester

220gsm 100% Recycled Display Polyester has the same properties as our typical 220gsm Display Polyester, except it is made from recycled polyester which otherwise would have gone to landfill.

110gsm Air Mesh Polyester

110gsm Air Mesh Polyester is our best equivalent of a PVC Mesh. It has large holes which makes the fabric lighter than a 220gsm Display Polyester, but it is still strong enough to use for outdoor banners. The most popular use of air mesh polyester is with heras fencing.

115gsm Knitted Flag Polyester

115gsm Knitted Flag Polyester is one of our most popular products. It is used not only with our range of flags, but also for outdoor signage requiring pockets, hems and eyelets - with the option of double side printing.

110gsm Recyclaflex Flag

110gsm Recyclaflex Flag is the recycled version of our 115gsm Knitted Flag Polyester. It can be sewn to the same specifications and still used for outdoor signage requiring pockets, hems and eyelets, with the added benefit that it is made from polyester which otherwise would have gone to landfill.

Description

220gsm Display Polyester is a woven material which is a common alternative to PVC banners. It can be used for event and exhibition backdrops, as well external graphics. This product page is setup for fabric banners but we have variety of finishing options available including keder for silicone edge graphics (SEG) on our dedicated display polyester page.

The maximum print width is 3150mm but multiple pieces can be joined together to make a much larger graphic. Contact the sales team for pricing.

How is it printed?

All of our fabrics are printed on our HP Stitch S1000 or on our Agfa Avinci CX3200. Once they are printed they are calendered with our Klieverik heat press and then we use our Zund CNC digital cutter to cut them to size/shape - allowing extra material for hems and pockets. The fabrics are then passed over to our sewing department who will then stitch them to match your brief before they are despatched.

Finishing Options

Finishing Options
Hem

Our most popular option for the edge of fabrics is a single hem. This is where the edge of the fabric is folded over 20mm and stitched shut.

Strengthened Edge

To make the hem more durable we offer a strengthened edge with two options:

Strengthened Edge - Tape Inside Hem - All Edges - the white strengthening tape is hidden inside the hem

Strengthened Edge - Tape On Top of Hem - All Edges - the white strengthening tape is visible on the edges of the fabric

Trim Edges If you would like to have your fabric cut to a custom shape then use the 'Trim to Size' option and then select either simple shape (for squares, triangles or rectangles) or complicated shape for any other style. Please note artwork must be supplied with a cutter guide as a spot colour on a separate layer to achieve different shapes.
Drill Holes Choose 'Trim to Size' and then either 4mm in each corner, 6mm in each corner or custom.
Eyelets Choose either 'Hem All Edges' or a Strengthened Edge option for eyelets. The most common spacing for eyelets is every 500mm, but any spacing can be achieved if you choose 'Custom' as the option.
Pockets All of our pockets are setup as included in the finished size.
Double Sided All double sided fabric prints are made from 2 x pieces which are stitched together with a tyvek liner.
