Acrylic – also known as perspex – is a popular material because it comes in a variety of thicknesses, sheet sizes, colours and finishes.
We use our HP Latex R2000 Plus to print direct to acrylic, creating high quality prints with a very opaque white. We can full colour print, cut, drill, bend and flame polish acrylic in quantities from one. Using this combination of finishes we can create bespoke display items to suit your brief. They can be for used for any type of display from internal shop signs, backlit display units or even line bent to make freestanding countertop display units.
What do you need to know for a quote?
There are quite a few variables that go into printed acrylic, so here’s the information we need to help you with your quote:
- Size: size of your finished print – if it is bent then we need to know the flat size
- Thickness: 3mm / 5mm / 6mm / 10mm
- Colour and Finish: eg clear, matt black, gloss black, opal etc
- Print Colour Options: CMYK, CMYK+White, White Only, Sandwich Print (Double Side Printing)
- Coverage: No White, Spot White, Flood White, Sandwich Print
- Front or Reverse Print
- Finishing: Route to size, flame polished, line bent, drill holes, stand offs.
