Aslan Printetched Dryapply Dfl 300

Aslan Printetched Dryapply Dfl 300 is an 80 micron translucent frosted glass film. Due to its coating we can print full colour - with or without white ink - to the face of the material to create stunning displays. For a cut only option see our Frosted Vinyl - SU3-70.

Frosted Vinyl - SU3-70

Frosted Vinyl - SU3-70 is our preferred frosted vinyl for non-printed applications. It can be through-cut and kiss cut to intricate shapes with either the background or the design removed to create different effects on glass. For a printed option choose our Aslan Printetched Dryapply Dfl 300 80mic.

Description

Aslan Printetched Dryapply Dfl 300 80mic is an excellent choice for window display because it has an etched look effect but still has the option of printing to the face. The end result can be a combination of white ink, CMYK and kiss cut elements, creating totally unique displays in office and retail environments.

We recommend dry application when installing this material because it has ASLAN Drayapply technology for easy application without causing bubbles.

Frosted Vinyl - SU3-70 is an excellent material for creating window displays where either some privacy is required, or a striking visual impact is required. It is either through-cut to shape, or intricately kiss cut with the option of having either the design removed - allowing some light in but ensuring privacy - or the background removed, so there is a 'floating' effect with the design.

We recommend wet application when installing this material.

How is it printed?

All of our frosted vinyl is printed on a HP Latex R2000 because it can utilise the white ink capabilities. Once the material is printed it is then cut using one of our Zund CNC digital cutters. If they need any additional finishing - eg weeding / application tape - then a member of our experienced finishing team completes the job, packing it up ready for despatch.

Please contact our team directly for a quote on materials which need to overlap / join due to the maximum print widths.

Finishing Options

Print Process Options

CMYK + White Underlay Spot

White ink is printed underneath any part of the design which has CMYK.

CMYK + White Underlay Flood

White ink is printed underneath the entire sticker

CMYK - No White Layer

Only CMYK ink is used. We do not recommend this for most applications as the ink will be translucent without a white ink layer.

White Only

Only white ink is used

Finishing Options
Through-Cut

All of our materials are digitally cut using a Zund CNC Cutter. Through-Cutting is where we cut through the vinyl and backing sheet, so each sticker is 1 item.

We offer the option of trim to size, throughcut to a simple shape (this includes circles, triangles and simple straight line objects) or complicated shapes.

If you would like advice on how we would categorise your cut shape feel free to contact a member of the team before you place your order.

Kiss Cut

Kiss Cutting is where we cut through the layer of vinyl, but not the backing sheet.

Kiss Cutting is used for creating sheets of stickers, with multiple designs on them that can be easily peeled off. This is ideal if you are giving away sheets of stickers at events, or if they are being sent to a fulfillment environment where the stickers are being peeled off to apply to a product.

It is also used when you have a design that needs to have excess material removed around it to create a 'floating graphic' which can then be mounted onto a wall or otherwise. To achieve this you also need the sticker to be weeded and have application tape.

Weeding

Weeding is the process of removing any excess vinyl after kiss cutting. This is used to create a 'floating graphic' on a window or product - so the background of the design is removed - or when in reverse, it can be used to block out large areas of a window with only parts of the design removed to see through.

Weeding must be used in conjunction with application tape.

Application Tape Application tape can be applied to weeded or unweeded stickers, and it helps the fitter with the easy transfer of the sticker from the backing sheet onto the window / product it is being mounted onto. The application tape keeps all of the elements in the right place so the design is exactly as it should be once installed.
